I Swear I Won't Tell
Metallics and Pastel. Putting on a plain outfit and then adding a statement piece is one of my favourite tricks. This winter, I've suddenly grown an interest for clutches, and I'm already planning on how I'm going to use them during the spring and summer of 2012. I especially like the Alexander McQueen Brittania Box Clutches (1-3), and the Lauren Merkin Ava Weathered Embossed Clutch (4). I'm already imagining and outfit consisting of white shorts, an over-sized, yet well fitted pastel pink blazer, Jeffrey Campbell Lita boots in taupe, and the Lauren Merkin clutch.. Ahh..

The Little Black Dress

The Little Black Dress- Ever since Coco Chanel came out with a short, black dress in 1926, it has become iconic. The keyword to this dress is simplicity. The little black dress can be worn to countless different occasions, and will probably never go out of style.
When looking for the perfect little black dress, I recommend finding the length that you feel the most comfortable with. This is not the time to experiment with different cuts, lengths or fabrics. For me, I always prefer the dress to hit about three to five inches above the knee. Also, the fabric should be something you would wear anywhere. Don't go for a knitted dress if you wouldn't wear it out to a fancy dinner. This dress should have as few limitations as possible.
Here are some of my current favourites. You can see that these dresses do not attract any attention by themselves, but you can easily add some nice accessories to make it appropriate for any occasion.
